Berlon's RRG root rake grapple opens 50 inches, with 3/8 inch tines spaced 8 inches apart and serrated teeth on the end tines to hold the load. Its 2.5 inch bore cylinders sit on the back side, out of the brush and set to maximize the opening. Berlon builds it for compact tractors up to 50 HP, in 48 to 72 inch widths.

The RRG Series is Berlon's root rake grapple for picking up brush, logs and debris. It comes with a hose saver spring, hoses and couplers, on the MPUF-1 universal skid steer mounting plate that many compact tractor loaders use.

Berlon Compact Tractor Root Rake Grapple Features

50 inch claw opening

3/8 inch tines spaced 8 inches apart

Serrated teeth on the end tines

2.5 inch bore, 8 inch stroke cylinders

Cylinders mounted on the back side for protection and a wider opening

Hose saver spring, hoses and couplers included

Recommended for compact tractors up to 50 HP

Built to order by Berlon Industries, currently 5 to 6 weeks

Berlon RRG Root Rake Grapple Sizes

Model

Width

Height

Depth

Claw opening

Weight

RRG-48

48.6 inches

34 inches

20.5 inches

50 inches

399 pounds

RRG-56

56.6 inches

34 inches

20.5 inches

50 inches

436 pounds

RRG-64

64.6 inches

34 inches

20.5 inches

50 inches

473 pounds

RRG-72

72.6 inches

34 inches

20.5 inches

50 inches

510 pounds

Will the Berlon Root Rake Grapple Fit My Tractor?

Berlon recommends the RRG for compact tractors up to 50 HP.
