Berlon's UTHB puts a 25 inch high back on its utility bucket, which lifts heaped capacity to 21.9 to 30.6 cubic feet across five widths from 60 to 84 inches. It is built from 3/16 inch steel with three wear bars, a radius kick-out plate and a reinforcement tube across the back, and the weld-on edge has holes for a bolt-on edge or tooth bar.

The UTHB Series is Berlon's utility high back bucket for when you need more capacity than a standard utility bucket. Every width comes with a 3/4 by 6 inch weld-on cutting edge with holes and the MPUF-1 universal mounting plate, at a 70 degree back angle.

Berlon High Back Skid Steer Bucket Features

25 inch high back for manure, slurry and bulky material

3/16 inch thick steel body

3/4 by 6 inch weld-on cutting edge with holes

Three 1/2 by 3 inch wear bars

Radius kick-out plate for added strength and easy clean out

Reinforcement tube across the back of the bucket

MPUF-1 universal skid steer mounting plate

Built to order by Berlon Industries, currently 5 to 6 weeks

Berlon UTHB Bucket Sizes

Model

Inside width

Outside width

Height

Depth

Heaped capacity

Weight

UTHB-60

60 inches

61.5 inches

25 inches

36 inches

21.9 cubic feet

462 pounds

UTHB-66

66 inches

67.5 inches

25 inches

36 inches

24.1 cubic feet

498 pounds

UTHB-72

72 inches

73.5 inches

25 inches

36 inches

26.3 cubic feet

532 pounds

UTHB-78

78 inches

79.5 inches

25 inches

36 inches

28.4 cubic feet

579 pounds

UTHB-84

84 inches

85.5 inches

25 inches

36 inches

30.6 cubic feet

611 pounds

Berlon UTHB Edge and Build Options

Option

What it adds

Weld-on edge

The standard 3/4 by 6 inch weld-on cutting edge with holes, so a bolt-on edge or tooth bar can be added later

Bolt-on cutting edge

Berlon BOCE: a reversible 3/4 by 8 inch beveled edge in C-1080 high carbon steel that bolts to the weld-on edge

Bolt-on tooth bar

Berlon BOTB: an HD shank tooth bar with replaceable #23 teeth that bolts over the weld-on edge

Bolt-on edge and tooth bar

The bolt-on cutting edge plus Berlon's BOTBOE tooth bar, built to bolt over it

HD package

The MPUF-1HD universal plate and a double reinforcement kit, which Berlon recommends for track machines and machines over 75 HP

Will the Berlon UTHB Bucket Fit My Skid Steer?

Every UTHB bucket comes with the MPUF-1 universal mounting plate, the quick attach on most skid steers and compact track loaders, and needs no hydraulics.
