broce-pickup-skid-steer-broom
Broce Manufacturing Pickup Skid Steer Broom

Before you order a Broce pickup broom for parking lots, warehouses or roadways, check your skid steer for auxiliary hydraulics with 12 to 30 GPM and a universal quick attach. Then check its lift capacity: the broom weighs 1,300 to 1,550 pounds, or 1,670 to 1,920 with the 40 gallon water tank full, more than any Broce angle broom. On the job, you sweep until the bucket fills, then roll it forward and dump the load where you want the pile.

The Broce pickup broom sweeps dirt and debris into its own bucket, so a skid steer can clean parking lots, warehouses and roadways and dump what it collects. Its 24 inch brush of convoluted poly wafers turns at a constant 180 to 200 RPM on Broce's valving, the bucket carries over 3/4 inch of wear material, and a double sided bolt on cutting edge comes standard. Three widths run from 60 to 84 inches, each offered with Broce's 40 gallon water system for dust control.

Broce BBA60P to BBA84P Skid Steer Pickup Broom Features

Sweeps debris into a bucket with over 3/4 inch of wear material

Cover retention chains let the bucket dump independently of the cover

Double sided bolt on cutting edge that turns 180 degrees for a second edge

Tool free core height adjustment with five pinned positions as the wafers wear

Front bumper protects the core cover, and pin guards protect the adjustment pins

Carrying rack on the cover with tie down slots for moving tools around a job site

Broce Pickup Broom Specs by Width

Model

Brush width (in)

Overall W x D x H (in)

Weight (lb)

With full water system (lb)

Input flow (GPM)

Operating pressure (PSI)

BBA60P

60

74.74 x 60.57 x 25.76

1,300

1,670

12 to 30

3,000

BBA72P

72

84.74 x 60.57 x 25.76

1,425

1,795

12 to 30

3,000

BBA84P

84

96.74 x 60.57 x 25.76

1,550

1,920

12 to 30

3,000

Each width has its own Broce operation and parts manual with the specs, maintenance steps and cutting edge part numbers, and the Broce pickup broom brochure covers the features and options.

Broce BBA60P pickup broom operation and parts manual (60 inch)

Broce BBA72P pickup broom operation and parts manual (72 inch)

Broce BBA84P pickup broom operation and parts manual (84 inch)

Will the Broce Pick-Up Broom Attachment Fit My Skid Steer?

The pickup broom mounts on Broce's universal mounting plate, which fits most skid steers, and runs on auxiliary hydraulics with 12 to 30 GPM of flow through connect under pressure couplers.
