Lowe's OptiBoom MAX turns a skid steer into a fronthoe and lift: a rigid box beam boom on the universal skid steer mount, with a quick attach nose that swaps buckets, a thumb, a rake and lifts by moving one pin, in under three minutes by Lowe's account. It reaches 65.5 inches, digs up to 84 inches deep, and Lowe rates the boom at 4,000 pounds.

The OptiBoom MAX (LFHB-60) is built from 5/16 inch side plates and 3/8 inch grade 50 steel, with hardened pins and sleeves at every pivot. It weighs 450 pounds without attachments and runs one 3-1/2 inch cylinder with an 18 inch stroke at up to 3,000 PSI.

Lowe OptiBoom MAX Features

Quick attach nose: swap attachments by repositioning a single pin

Rigid box beam of 5/16 inch side plates and 3/8 inch grade 50 steel

Hardened pins and sleeves at every pivot point

3-1/2 inch cylinder, 18 inch stroke, 3,000 PSI maximum

4,000 pound boom capacity

65.5 inch reach, digs up to 84 inches deep depending on the attachment

Universal skid steer mount

Built to order by Lowe Manufacturing, currently 5 to 6 weeks

Lowe OptiBoom MAX Specifications

Spec

Lowe LFHB-60

Overall length

73 inches without attachments

Overall height

26 inches

Overall width

45 inches

Weight

450 pounds without attachments

Reach

65.5 inches, mounting plate to attachment pivot pin

Digging depth

Up to 84 inches, by attachment

Cylinder

3-1/2 inch bore, 18 inch stroke, 3,000 PSI

Boom capacity

4,000 pounds

Lowe OptiBoom MAX Packages

Package

What comes with the boom

LFHB-60

Boom with quick attach

LFHB-60-PKG1

Thumb and 12 inch tooth bucket with weld-on teeth

LFHB-60-PKG2

PKG1 plus the 35 inch rake

LFHB-60-PKG3

PKG1 plus the single clevis lift and the 4 point lift

See the Lowe OptiBoom MAX sales sheet (PDF) for the full specification sheet.

Will the Lowe OptiBoom MAX Fit My Skid Steer?

The OptiBoom MAX mounts on the universal skid steer quick attach and runs its cylinder on one set of auxiliary hydraulics at up to 3,000 PSI.
