A 38 inch cutting disk, 3/4 inch thick with replaceable carbide teeth, cuts trees up to 14 inches. Maxx says its piston motor gives 40 percent more torque than competing saws and helps keep the skid steer from overheating. Choose a fixed or swing boom, sized for medium flow at 26 to 33 GPM or high flow at 33 to 41 GPM.

The Maxx XD tree saw is an extreme duty skid steer tree saw with a 38 inch diameter, 3/4 inch thick cutting disk and replaceable carbide teeth with locknuts. Maxx builds it with a fixed boom or a swing boom; swing boom models help minimize ground disturbance and come with a priority flow control valve and a wire harness. A 5 gallon chemical sprayer system is available to treat the stumps.

Maxx XD Skid Steer Tree Saw Features

38 inch diameter cutting disk, 3/4 inch thick

Cuts trees up to 14 inches in diameter

Replaceable carbide cutting teeth with locknuts

XD high performance piston motor; Maxx says it gives 40 percent more torque than competing products and reduces skid steer overheating

Fixed boom, or swing boom to minimize ground disturbance

Swing boom models: priority flow control valve and wire harness included, with 7 or 14 pin plug connections available to order

Universal skid steer mount

Optional 5 gallon chemical sprayer system with spray nozzle

Maxx XD Tree Saw Models

Model

Boom

Flow range

Weight

6700D1

Fixed

26 to 33 GPM (medium flow)

1,350 pounds

7443D1

Fixed

33 to 41 GPM (high flow)

1,370 pounds

6777D1

Swing

26 to 33 GPM (medium flow)

1,540 pounds

7534D1

Swing

33 to 41 GPM (high flow)

1,560 pounds

DY112548

Chemical sprayer system

Not applicable

80 pounds

Maxx XD Tree Saw Specifications

Spec

Maxx XD tree saw

Cutting capacity

Trees up to 14 inches in diameter

Cutting disk

38 inch diameter, 3/4 inch thick

Teeth

Replaceable carbide teeth with locknuts

Motor

XD high performance piston motor

Mount

Universal skid steer mount

Sprayer

Optional, about 5 gallons total capacity

Will the Maxx XD Tree Saw Fit My Skid Steer?

Pick the model by your skid steer's auxiliary flow: medium flow models run on 26 to 33 GPM and high flow models on 33 to 41 GPM.
