Description The skid steer trencher is designed for trenching in all types of ground conditions, quickly and effectively installing natural gas, sewer and water supply pipelines, telecommunications and optical fiber cables, and irrigation systems as skid steer attachments. The skid steer trencher attachment consists of an arm, chain, auger and hydraulic motor. Wear items include chain teeth, debris and drive sprocket. They are operated using the hydraulic system of the skid steer's steering, and the operating angle is controlled by the mounting plate of the skid steer's steering - rotating the top of the plate forward to increase the depth and backward to decrease the depth. The auger removes the soil from the trench to prevent it from falling back in, and the debris forms a clean trench bottom by returning the remaining soil to the chain to be cleared. Features: Skid Steer trencher attachment features an adjustable depth control foot which ensures the operator trenches at a set depth at all times. Three different chain options are also available for trenching in different ground conditions from general earth, to rocky ground, concrete, asphalt, and even frozen ground.
