EIP Manufacturing Trencher Overview
Water lines, irrigation and buried power or communication runs all start with a trench, and digging one with a bucket leaves a wide, rough cut. The EIP Manufacturing skid steer trencher cuts 4, 6 or 8 inches wide and up to 36 inches deep, holds a steady depth and throws finely crumbed spoil to one side so it compacts well when you backfill. Choose an earth, combo or rock chain for your ground. It runs on 13 to 25 GPM and mounts on EIP's slide shift frame, sold separately.
The EIP Skid Steer Trencher digs trenches up to 36 inches deep and 4, 6 or 8 inches wide for pipe laying, irrigation, underground power and communications lines, repairs and general construction. It holds a steady depth and throws the spoil to one side as finely crumbed material that compacts well back into the trench, with an earth, combo or rock chain.

Will the EIP Skid Steer Trencher Fit My Machine?
The trencher runs on 13 to 25 GPM of auxiliary flow; EIP sets the limit at 3,500 psi at 16 GPM and 34 hp. It mounts on EIP's slide shift frame, which is not included and is ordered separately, so we confirm the frame with your order. It is 76 inches long, 26 inches tall and 48 inches wide.
Pick the chain by your ground: EIP's earth chain has earth teeth on every station for soft, clean ground with no floaters or roots, and its combo chain mixes 30 percent earth and 70 percent rock teeth for hard soils, roots, soft shale and rocky ground. A rock chain is also offered.
