Maxx Attachments Ranch Axe Tree Shear, 14 and 16 Inch

Cedar, mesquite and other invasive trees take over pasture fast, and a skid steer tree shear clears them at ground level without a chainsaw crew. The Maxx Ranch Axe cuts trees up to 14 inches with solid cast steel arms, or up to 16 inches with fabricated A572 steel arms. Choose standard arms for hardwoods such as mesquite, oak, osage orange and locust, or open end extended arms for softwoods like cedar. It runs on 15 GPM of standard flow and mounts on the universal skid steer quick attach.

The Maxx Ranch Axe is a tree shear for skid steer loaders, built for general land clearing. Maxx offers the 14 inch shear with or without a brushguard and with standard or extended arms, and the 16 inch shear with a brushguard and standard arms. Every unit carries a 3/4 inch AR400 bolt on milled knife, two 5 inch shear cylinders and universal skid steer quick attach hooks.

Will the Maxx Ranch Axe Tree Shear Fit My Skid Steer?

Maxx designs the Ranch Axe for skid steers with at least 1,850 pounds of operating capacity and at least 15 GPM of auxiliary flow. It hangs on the universal skid steer quick attach found on most newer skid steers and comes with standard flow flat face couplers.
