Maxx Attachments Vortex Skid Steer Brush Cutter

Heavy brush and small trees wear out an ordinary mower deck, and the Maxx Vortex is a skid steer brush cutter built to cut 4 to 6 inch material all day. Its open end frame cuts the material before it reaches the deck, for faster cleanout. A 750 pound flywheel and a gear motor drive four AR400 knives across a 70 or 80 inch cut. Pick the model by your machine's flow: standard flow at 19 to 26 GPM, medium flow at 26 to 33 GPM or high flow at 33 to 41 GPM.

The Maxx Vortex is an open face skid steer brush cutter with a heavy duty drive spindle, a gear motor system and a 750 pound flywheel. Maxx offers it in 70 and 80 inch cutting widths, with a heavy duty open sided deck and frame made for around the clock work and a dual discharge deck. It comes with jumper hose lines to the skid loader; couplings are not included.

Will the Maxx Vortex Brush Cutter Fit My Skid Steer?

Match the Vortex to your skid steer's auxiliary flow: the standard flow model (70 inch only) runs on 19 to 26 GPM, medium flow models on 26 to 33 GPM and high flow models on 33 to 41 GPM, all at up to 3,200 PSI. Maxx lists a 2,500 pound minimum operating capacity for the standard flow model and 2,800 pounds for the others, and sizes the 70 or 80 inch width to the machine width.
