For cutting beams, pipe and rebar on demolition, scrap and bridge jobs where torching is not practical, a Connect Work Tools CS shear works from an excavator, and the CS7 also from a skid steer loader. The CS7 runs on 25 GPM and opens 11.6 inches; the CS15 needs 45 GPM and opens 16.1 inches. Rotation takes its own 4 or 5 GPM, with 12 VDC electric control standard on the CS7 and hydraulic control on the CS15. Both have taller blades and a pivot group that needs no auto guide system.
The Connect Work Tools CS series mobile shear cuts H-beams, I-beams, channel iron, pipe, round stock, steel plate, wire, rebar and concrete. It is built for scrap processing, demolition, road and bridge reconstruction and jobs where torching is not practical. The CS7 fits excavators from 15,432 pounds or skid steer loaders from 6,614 pounds, and the CS15 fits excavators from 26,455 pounds.
