Top Dog Attachments Root Grapple Overview
Top Dog built the extreme root grapple for land clearing, root raking, log handling and debris removal, from 1/2 inch Grade 50 steel throughout. Two independent arms clamp uneven loads, the tines are cut to dig in and pull roots, and covers shield the cylinders from branches and rock. Tines sit 6.69 inches apart on the 72 inch model and 7.13 inches on the 84 inch. It opens 36.4 inches tine to tine and hangs on the universal quick attach of most skid steers and compact track loaders.
Top Dog's 2026 list puts the 72 inch at 950 pounds and the 84 inch at 1,100 pounds.
