Lowe Manufacturing BP Series Planetary Skid Steer Auger

Big holes in hard ground take torque, and a planetary gearbox supplies it without straining the loader. Lowe's BP Series auger drives run a Lowe designed planetary reduction gearbox with about 20 percent more gear strength than Lowe's earlier models, by Lowe's account, a through hardened alloy drive shaft, a stronger shaft bearing support, a high grade shaft seal and a zero leak motor mount. Five models cover 10 to 30 GPM, two of them high pressure units rated to 3,500 PSI.

The BP Series is Lowe's planetary auger line for skid steers, sold here as the complete package: drive unit, universal skid steer mount, hoses and couplers. Auger bits are sold separately; Lowe recommends its LP Series bits on the BP drives.

Pick the model whose flow range covers your loader's auxiliary hydraulic flow: Lowe rates the BP-150 at 10 to 20 GPM, the BP-210 at 15 to 25, the BP-230 at 18 to 25, and the two high pressure units at 15 to 30 and 18 to 30 GPM up to 3,500 PSI. The package mounts on the universal skid steer quick attach. Choose the output shaft that matches your bits.
