Lowe Manufacturing Auger Bit Overview
Big drives in tough, abrasive ground chew through ordinary auger bits. Lowe calls its LX Series the strongest and most durable augers it has ever produced, built for the larger, more powerful drive units where conditions are unusually tough. They come 9 to 36 inches in diameter with standard or carbide tipped teeth, and with a 2 inch hex top for most drives or a 2-1/2 inch hex top for Lowe's A-400H. Teeth, center points and the pilot bit adapter all replace.
The LX Series is Lowe's heaviest auger bit. Lowe lists forged gage and inside teeth, carbide tipped teeth, center points and an optional tooth pilot as replacement parts.
