Lowe Manufacturing Auger Bit Overview
When the ground turns hard, dry or compacted, a standard bit spins and polishes the bottom of the hole. Lowe's LP Series bits pair wide outside teeth with inside chisel teeth that keep cutting as digging gets tougher, on a heat treated alloy steel boring head. Lowe recommends them for its BP-150, BP-210 and BP-230 planetary drives, for Classic drives in tougher conditions and for some backhoe setups. They come 6 to 36 inches with a round or hex top.
The LP Series is Lowe's hard ground auger bit. Teeth and points drive on and replace when worn, and Lowe offers a wide variety of them.
