Lowe Manufacturing SP-2012H Skid Steer Stump Planer

Grinding out a stump usually means renting a grinder; a stump planer turns the auger drive you already own into one. Lowe's SP-2012H bores down through the stump with triple flighting, three hardened bolt-on cutting edges and a replaceable 3-piece center point pilot bit, on a solid 2-7/8 inch steel center shaft. It has a stabilizing blade holder and a standard 2 inch hex top, weighs 60 pounds, and Lowe calls for a drive with more than 2,500 foot pounds of torque.

The SP-2012H is Lowe's stump planer, 12 inches in diameter with 11 inch flighting at a 16 inch pitch, 26.5 inches tall.

Will the Lowe Stump Planer Fit My Auger Drive?

The SP-2012H mounts on any auger drive with a 2 inch hex output shaft that makes more than 2,500 foot pounds of torque, per Lowe's manual. In Lowe's line that means the 1650 or 2175 Classic, a BP drive or the A-400H with an adapter; tell us your drive and we will confirm.
